Three-time All-American on high bar...earned the highest high bar score on the squad last season when he received a 9.500 at NCAAs...set career bests on rings (8.900) and parallel bars (9.475) last season...tied for second place at NCAAs on parallel bars and was one of six key contributors on the team.
2007: Set a career record of 8.750 on rings at the Stanford open (Jan. 27) and broke that to set a new record of 8.900 one meet later at the Big Flip (Feb. 17)...Cal's top all-around finisher when the Bears took third place at the Pacific Coast Classic (Feb. 24)...finished in second place at NCAAs with a career-best 9.475 on parallel bars, which also earned him All-America honors on the event...took second place on parallel bars at NCAA individual competition after leading for the majority of the meet.
2006: Set a new career best on the high bar at the NCAA Championships (9.600) and posted a 9.550 at the NCAA Qualifier...achieved his season-best score of 8.750 on pommel horse twice during the season, at the Pete Vidmar Invitational and against Penn State...became an All-American for the second time with his fifth-place finish (9.387) at the NCAA individual competition...led Cal on high bar against Stanford (Feb. 11), earning a 9.300...named an Academic All-MPSF's scholar-athletes.
2005: NCAA All-American on high bar...made a tremendous debut with the Bears, posting season-high scores of 9.650 on floor, 9.600 on pommel horse, 9.350 on the vault and parallel bars and 9.550 on the high bar... finished eighth on the high bar at the NCAA Championships individual competition (9.012)...took first against Temple on the pommel horse (9.600) and parallel bars (9.350), and tied for first on high bar (9.100)...took top honors on the high bar against Stanford, posting a season-high 9.550...was one of 15 gymnasts invited to the U.S. national team camp for a week of training with Olympic athletes and top coaches in the country (Fall '05).
Previous: Qualified for the U.S. Championships in 2003 and 2004...finished in the top 15 at nationals four times...competed for Gemini Gymnastics.
