Knezevic returns to the active lineup this season after sitting out 2006-07 with a knee injury ... initially joined the Bears in December 2005 from his native Serbia and provided valuable depth at the guard position as a freshman ... expected to be a significant contributor at both guard spots this season ... sees the floor well and is an adept passer ... also a solid defender on the perimeter.

As a Freshman in 2005-06: Joined the team from Belgrade after the end of the fall semester, gaining eligibility for Cal's Dec. 21 game vs. DePaul (DNP) ... served as the Bears' primary backup at point guard ... appeared in all but one Pac-10 game (at Oregon State) ... saw his first significant action vs. Oregon Jan. 5 when he scored four points in 17 minutes ... dished out three assists in a home win over Stanford and came through in the Bears' next game vs. Arizona with four assists in six minutes of action ... played well the final weekend of the regular season, finishing with five points and two assists vs. UCLA and three points and four assists (no turnovers) against USC ... injured his right knee in a summer workout after the season and had surgery to repair loose cartilage June 26, 2006.
